In der bunten Bibliothek ist ein Buch, „The Alchemist“ von Paulo Coelho, aufgetaucht. Beim Durchblättern sind mir die Eselsohren aufgefallen. Nicht durch Unachtsamkeit entstanden. Jemand hat bestimmte Seiten markiert. Die nach hinten umgeknickten Ecken sind größer, die nach vorn geknickten kleiner.
Und natürlich bin ich neugierig. Was auf den markierten Seiten war dem Menschen wichtig? Was hat ihn bewegt? Der Text selbst auf den jeweiligen Seiten enthält keine weiteren Markierungen. Ich kenne den Menschen nicht, der das Buch abgegeben hat. Ich kenne das Buch nicht.
Ich lese nur jede Eselsohrseite und suche die Stelle, die der Auslöser für das Eselsohr gewesen sein könnte. Ich suche die Stelle, die auf den Seiten am meisten zu mir spricht. Und einmal habe ich auch nichts gefunden.

„…“What do you want here today?“ the desert asked him. „Didn’t you spend enough time looking at me yesterday?“…“ (Ich bin mir sicher, dass diese Sätze nicht der Grund sind, warum das Eselsohr da ist. Aber sie gefallen mir am besten.)
„When you are loved, you can do anything in creation. When you are loved, there´s no need at all to understand what’s happening, because everything happens within you, and even man can turn themselves into the wind. As long as the wind helps, of course.“
Das war es. Eine freundliche Erinnerung. Durch ein paar Eselsohren. Und eine große Hilfe beim Schreiben eines Blogbeitrags. Von einen unbekannten Menschen, der von alledem nichts weiß.
